-
Recommend that the Post resume normal meetings while conforming to Department guidance beginning on Tuesday 14 July 2020.
-
Charlie Seaver made a motion that the Post be renamed to Croteau-Coutts-Ford
Post 24.This is to honor Marshall Ford who was killed as an Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam January 1968. He was born in raised in Marlborough, married a local girl and had a daughter (both still alive and living in Maine). He is buried in Pine Grove cemetery in Marlborough. It has been 52 years, but I feel it’s the right thing to do. “Pete” was a casualty of our time, our war, and this is a way to insure he will not be forgotten long after we are all gone. The motion was seconded by Chaplain Leo Plante and voted on and approved by membership. The Adjutant will take for action.
