The Linwood Croteau Memorial Scholarship

The American Legion Croteau-Coutts-Ford Post 24 proudly announces the availability of scholarship applications for the school year 2021 – 2022. This scholarship was initiated by former post member Linwood Croteau in whose name the scholarship is dedicated.

Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded in each of the following eligibility classes:

Community Award: Students currently residing in the towns of Marlborough, Dublin, and Harrisville who have successfully completed their current studies and have been accepted as an undergraduate or has plans to continue their undergraduate study at an accredited institution of higher education within the United States.

Legacy Award: Students who are children, grandchildren, or step-children of a member in good standing of Post 24, past or present, who have successfully completed their current studies and have been accepted as an undergraduate or has plans to continue their undergraduate study at an accredited institution of higher education within the United States.

Croteau-Coutts Post 24 funds this scholarship through a variety of activities run by the Legion family throughout the year. Our Great Futures program allows Marlborough area businesses and individuals an opportunity to become involved with this effort.

The American Legion Croteau-Coutts Post 24 looks forward to awarding scholarships to deserving students for many years to come.

Marshall H. Ford Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship is awarded annually in memory of Warrant Officer Marshall H. Ford United States Army, a Huey pilot who lost his life fighting for his country during the Vietnam War in 1967
